Kai Early Years manifests a ‘third-teacher’ learning environment to nurture the developmental needs of children aged two to six years through an engaging framework of consciously explorative and communal play spaces. The design scheme creates a dynamic interplay between the indoors and outdoors, comprising permeable ‘pods’ that acts as free-flowing activity zones – segregated as per usage, rather than age; it also utilizes tactile surfaces, reconfigurable play equipment and a vibrant landscape strategy to aid sensory development as well as social & environmental cognizance.
