An iconic movie house from Texas, Alamo Drafthouse combines quality cinema, hospitality & vintage experience into boutique theaters. The first Los Angeles location is an homage to the “exploitation” films that dominated the 60’s & 70’s. This project features a vibrant bar, restaurant kitchen, retail & 12 state-of-the-art theatres. It was a hit the moment the doors opened. As the LA-based AOR, Relativity Architects worked collaboratively with the Alamo group & Weiss Architecture to combine building renovations, film, acoustics & hospitality expertise to bring the unique Alamo experience to life
