Situated within the town of Mudu, near the city of Suzhou, China. This project serves as a trailblazer in taking full advantage of setback space surrounding elevated roads to create a unique community gallery. It captures the space's potential by converting it into a public place of art exhibition, gathering and communicating. The team strived to reduce the building’s intrusion into the environment, borrowing the traditional Jiangnan-style Chinese garden design, this project transforms a previous bleak urban space to a community of combined artistic and utilitarian beauty.
