This homeless shelter design was inspired by Tiny Homes, RV Campers and Hotel room layouts. The goal was to design a facility with flexibility to maximize the number of the homeless that could be housed. This design allows the various sizes of family units to stay together in a safe, secure home. There is not a set number of sleeping spaces for any micro apartment, it can have as few as 2 or as many as 12. This helps use every bed to be filled while still honoring their dignity and privacy.
