The restaurant Birdie G’s is the first tenant to open in ‘The Alley,’ a new development at Santa Monica’s historic Bergamot Station. The newly renovated 5,000 square foot space was once part of a railroad depot and formerly housed the Santa Monica Museum of Art. The steel-beamed industrial shell remains intact and provides a backdrop for the contrasting interior. Delicate details, dark blue banquettes, and walnut furniture play off the restored warehouse windows and concrete floor.
