The Void Vessels create a new relationship between architecture and nature that the spaces get into the nature directly, in response to the future sea level rise and global warming to adapt to the new environment by 2050. The underground void spaces can become mediators to protect the architecture inside from the huge scale natural disaster, making human beings like on the ground. In terms of urbanism, this mixture of a tower, mid-rise curved geometry and underground void space would maximizes urban density for the future population growth and housing needs in New York City by 2050.
