A solution to the urban grave shortage, and memorial halls that are easy to visit. A grave-type ossuary near Tokyo. As people moving from their birthplace to cities are growing, change in lifestyle creates a need for a change from a traditional local graveyard easy access urban ossuary. It is the first grave-type mechanical ossuary in Japan and it is a memorial architecture for bereaved families to conduct the funeral ceremony and pay their respect. Using natural materials we designed everything from the architecture to the interior, hardware, and ossuary software systems.
