No.26 involved the refurbishment, conversion and extension of a major mixed-use redevelopment comprising shell retail to the ground and part first floors and the remaining levels redeveloped into 183 residential apartments with a construction value of £32.5m. Early works involved strip-out and partial internal demolition of an existing 1960’s office block. Our design remit also included an additional 4 & 6 storey rooftop extension to the existing building (comprising 38 apartments) a rooftop garden, the interior architecture of the reception, Co-working space and communal areas for residents.
