In line with the terrain features, the design unfolded the building from west to east, so as to let it cling to earth and extend along horizon. The public space was set on the south of first floor and guestrooms on the north of second floor, with a courtyard in the middle. The lobby and restaurant are situated on the western highland, while the swimming pool was set below the pine garden on the north of the lobby based on natural elevation difference. The recreational space extends westward to book bar surrounded on three sides by courtyards, tactically smoothing the elevation difference.
