The home is located in Telluride, CO, a small ski town in southwest Colorado. The site is perched high above the valley floor below and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and ski area. The primary shape of the home is in a "T" plan form and is reminiscent of a soaring eagle, surveying the landscape below. Organizationally, in plan form, the main living is defined by two large stone cube service elements that separate it from private spaces. The arrangement of these stone cube elements set up a long gallery space that runs the length of the residence.
