The current restaurant Les Ombres is located on the roof of the Quai Branly museum and offers a breathtaking view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. This restaurant signed by the architect Jean Nouvel has a strong identity expressed around the concept of shadows. This concept is declined in projections generated by the glass roof and the wooden cubes on the floor, as a wink to the museum’s façade. Inspired by the architectural concept, we wanted to enrich and reveal its shadows; to bring them to life to create a transition between a restoration space and an event space.
