Rule Water Street is an urban renewal project in Nanchang, which includes a 930 meter commercial street, offices, medical center and hotel apartments. The concept is inspired by site's historical memory of water, using past imagery of river beach, flowing water, and waves, combined with contemporary landscape vocabulary to create a future image highlights of the area. Main commercial street is featured with a continuous red belt “the red movement of life” flowing through to shape the identical landmark, meanwhile, to create multi-functional open spaces and sensational experiences for visitors.
