ISLAND CITY - Chengdu Tianfu New Area Xinjin District Conceptual Urban Design

Xinjin, known as a port city, is part of the western satellite of the major metropolis in the Southwest of China, Chengdu. Through the ages, five upstream rivers converge at Xinjin, providing with a peculiar space with tremendous urban potential. This project locates at a braided stream delta which is the geographical center of Xinjin. We aim to adapt the future of Xinjin to the water environment, developing a diverse, healthy habitat and maximizing riversides attraction.
