“Bright” is a light installation designed for the Zero-One Technology Festival in Shenzhen, China. Situated at the main entrance, the totem acts as a landmark for the festival. As night approaches, the totem takes a more pro-active role, transforming into a beacon of light. Responding to the theme of the festival “Second Nature”, the totem seeks to reflect the aspiration that technology will do more than just empowering our lives but it will seamlessly become part of our daily lives. The totem draws inspiration from the Zero-one Technology Festival in the simplest way.
