Left in a metropolis, The Taipei Railway Workshop seems to be like an island floating in the city, heading to a brand new destination as the industrial age ends. Through repairing the connection between sections, reconstruction of the spaces and facade,interaction with the residents nearby, and providing new living spaces, the design reformed aindustrial heritage while patching the connections among the city, the industry, and the environment.
