BIA is an industrial building complex, located in the central Mexican city of San Luis Potosí. The building design is composed of an ensemble of differently-sized metal boxes, accommodating the various functions of the architectural program. The client’s special attention on surfaces comes true by the selection of materials; a corrugated metal cladding façade for the boxes (either clear or dark) contrasts with the basement wall, composed of hand-crafted dark cement blocks.
