The indentation of the volume of the building allows for a patio in the outdoor stairway. Streamlined curved grille balances out square shapes in the space. The modern feel and a light touch of Japanese style go along from the outdoor landscaping design into the audio-visual room in the basement. Marble veins on the bar counter add variety to the space, while titanium-plated metal lines lessen the sense of oppression due to a relatively low ceiling. The eye-catching vista lies in the long patio outdoors, which lets in abundant natural light for the basement.
