The project is an improved residential community located in Bishan, Chongqing with rich culture features.The original site is surrounded by the mountain and faces the river, it’s high in the west and low in the east, the maximum height difference is 33 meters.Huang Zaizhong, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem named ‘Eight Views of Bishan’, he describes a scene of ‘the sky is cleared up after raining, people can see the shadows of trees clearly.’ The team get inspired by it, and propose the concept of ‘island living’, by interpreting the scenery of the island,to create a livable life.
