Along with the fourth dimension of time comes change. Canadian landscape architect Haig Seferian understood this as he approached the Gage Park Terrace redevelopment. And he understood in whose shoes he was walking in to recreate the initial concepts of this significant green estate in the City of Hamilton, Canada. Howard Dunington-Grubb was a founding member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. His design of the 29-hectare site has stood the test of time, but the built and the planted needed renewal. Though the times are different, the spirit of the design remains alive and sound.
