Situated at an important public transport node, Mirvish Village is a complex mixed-use development establishing a dynamic neighbourhood on an underutilized 4.5-acre site. Inspired by small building floorplates of Tokyo, it comprises 32 micro buildings with retail at grade tailored to micro-retailers. Mirvish includes almost 900 rental suites (40% at below market rents), 23 retained heritage homes, a 12,375 ft2 park, and large public market. Mirvish is targeting LEED Platinum ND and Toronto Green Standard Tier 2, with a CHP power plant creating 40% less waste and twice as much usable energy.
