The Theater and Cultural Center proposal in Luanco (Spain) lays on three main scales. On an urban scale, it creates a public space to give a particular character to an area lacking nowadays. The design of the new elements takes some aspects from the existing building (alignments, proportions, and construction components) to relate it to the city on an architectural scale. The interior design respects the registered building by conceiving it as a multipurpose cultural part, while the theater component is exclusively placed in the new building.
