Within the middle train carriage of the The End To End complex is a new state of the art music mastering and recording facility called Carriage Studio. It is a finely tuned acoustic space within a recently retired, renovated Hitachi Met train five storeys up. A flat acoustic response has been achieved in the metal tube that was a train carriage and full sonic isolation has been achieved through multi-wall systems. The fitout presents as a moody sky-pod sensation intended to stimulate innovative music making and simultaneously augment this surreal Rolling Stock architectural setting.
