Woodland House is a bespoke replacement dwelling situated on a plateau with valley and woodland views. The design focuses on multi-generational adaptable living characterised by three volumes, one of which can be closed off when not in use. The geometry mimics the landscape, animated by diagonal Siberian Larch which is double mitred with no profile edging for a sharp finish. Inside, a dynamic roofscape creates vaulted ceilings & open plan living space includes a custom plywood kitchen. The project is zero-combustible with PVs, ASHP, 'A' EPC rating, and provides 60% energy self-sufficiency.
