"Mountains" and "rivers" represent the connections between groups of mountains. Miaoli is situated in the northern part of the western half of Taiwan, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with abundant and diverse resources. Apart from its traditional cuisine, cultural history, local customs, pottery, wood carving, and other cultural aspects, there's a lack of a catalyst for change that could transform Miaoli. The town is lacking comprehensive urban planning, landmark architecture, and distinctive leisure spots.
