During a photo walk in Ekbatan Town, the photographer discovered the emergency stairwells next to the circulation point of each building's block. The character of the place suddenly changes as he climbed the steps, from a conventional neighborhood to a dark, enclosed, and complex environment. After a while, the eye became accustomed to the darkness, and the photographer could see the imperfections of the buildings along with the leading lines and rhythms of the stairs. The stairs provided a small platform to move the camera and explore the conditions.
