Hong Kong's public housing

Hong Kong's public housing programme was since on1950's. It has been addressing the housing needs of low-income families for over half a century. Also, the architecture, the way of life and the culture in public housing estates have been evolving, and become a feature of life in Hong Kong. Today, the housing problem is still more and more tense under the situation of the high property prices of private households in Hong Kong. Therefore, the public housing estates in Hong Kong are still urgently needed by Hong Kong people, and it is also a place where they can live happily that they think so.
