This is the Abdullah Kuran Main Library Building in Bogazici University, which was designed by Sandor Hadi (deceased Hungarian origin Turkish architect) and his wife Sevinc Hadi. Despite the fact that the building is a significant example of modernist architecture heritage in Turkey, it is planned to be demolished. The Hadi family contacted me and wanted to cooperate in the documentation of this great piece of architecture before demolition. I wanted to reflect the remarkable design that lets ample diffused daylight through the roof slits to the light well in the middle, needed in a library.
