The Iran Zamin tourism complex, located adjacent to the greatest mosque of Isfahan in a 1400-year-old historically rich area, is designed to appreciate Persian architecture and heritage. Preserving and enhancing the 120-year-old reservoir, harmonized with the landscape design, was our tribute to this architectural heritage. The old structure as well as central courtyard were preserved and integrated to design to enhance energy efficiency. Central courtyard is a key feature of sustainability in Persian architecture and a passive solution for Isfahan hot and dry climate.
