Kakumei Hall is a theater for the traditional performing arts of Tokyo. With a desire to revive Japan's declining traditional performing arts, we renovated a 50-year-old multi-tenant building and revived it as a theater specializing in traditional performing arts. Although the theater is a tiny space of 6m x 6m x 6m, the audience surrounds the performers, creating a ``primitive scene where performing arts began.'' On the stage, the scenes and explanations of the program are projected onto the wall to convey difficult traditional performing arts to the audience in an easy-to-understand manner.
