This project is about patination and various metal forming techniques. Hong Kong’s subtropical, corrosive climate causes patination which contribute to the city’s unique appearance and building fabric. In the context of an adaptive reuse modeling medium project, my work explores how metal surfaces form react with water runoff and patination. This project is mainly adopting single and double curvature by using bead roller, slip roller and manual hammering ,achieving various kinds of effects in the relationships between water runoff and how metal corrodes depending on its form.
