‧Design Thinking: Rethinking architectural elements of balcony as transition space between indoors and outdoors. What's transition, in-between and intermediary space? If space personified, would its texture, like journey between people, reveal complex paths to reaching others' worlds? ‧Design Operation: Use curved space to explore appearance and space texture of transition. I use spinal twist of Martha Graham dance skills. Then model construction fixes only top and bottom plates, leaving space between free, resembling anchored approaches, to explore curved space between upper and lower plates.
