Australia’s Canberra Airport is one of the best small airports in the world. It is strongly committed to architectural design and public art, with sculptures and works of art dotted throughout terminal. Found within one of the airports internal courtyards is Australia’s largest cast figurative bronze sculpture, “Perception and Reality” by Andrew Rogers, sitting at 7.5 metres high. The juxtaposition of its textural organic shapes with the buildings soaring glass, steel and concrete facade is magnificent.
