Designed by Cox architecture, the Coliseum theatre is a 2000-seat multi-mode performance venue for performing arts and live entertainment located in Rooty Hill west of Sydney, Australia The flowing façade comprises of precast concrete panels that imitates the fluid and graceful movements of stage curtains. A rhythmic pattern of ribbon windows carved into deep reveals veils the surrounds, minimises solar gain and filters dramatic light.
