The series was taken in Italy, in Porto Recanati a picturesque city on the Adriatic coast. It is a very popular Italian holiday destination where residential buildings show the same architectural characteristics. The main architectural element is the arch. Arches are the main feature of the design. From a photographic perspective arches are very captivating, they sometimes offer a frame to enhance the architectural details. The minimalistic approach to the composition can enhance the beautiful play of lines and the vivid primary colours of the walls.
