This building is a kindergarten built in Nagi Town, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. It is a wooden structure, but the use of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) as a material has made it possible to reduce the number of columns and beams and to expand the space, thereby expanding the design options for wooden structures. By increasing the area of the windows, this is a sustainable building that does not require electricity during the daytime. Design: Kusuyama Architect Inc. and Mount Fuji Architects Studio Construction: Kajioka Construction Co. and Morito Industries Co.
