Life in this home outside Searchlight, NV is a quiet, solitary existence. Sitting on a 15 acre mining claim, the house is perched among the mountains and surrounded by the landscape of the Mojave Desert. The site is known as the Searchlight Mystery Ranch and serves as an art and ecology research station. Visiting artists, scientists, teachers, and students may reside in the ranch home and derive inspiration for their work from the surrounding landscape. This beautiful environment is home not only to the desert wildlife and plants, but also to the artists and scientists who visit there.
