Located at 625 West 57th Street in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, New York City, VIA 57 West is a residential building renowned for its distinctive pyramid-shaped tower block, or "tetrahedron," designed by the Danish architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Completed in 2016, the building has developed into a fully integrated residential ecosystem, including nearby theaters, recreational areas, piers, and parks, positioning VIA 57 West as a landmark, comparable to other iconic residential buildings closer to Central Park, such as the Central Park Tower and Steinway Mansion.
