Architects sometimes design with specific views in mind, using plans, elevations, and sections to bring their vision to life. This design intent is often recognizable in the finished work, but the architect’s initial ideas can remain hidden. This is the case with the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, a project conceived in plan but never photographed this way—until now. William Mulvihill’s photographic series reveals these "evident but hidden" perspectives, highlighting geometric rigor and offering views once reserved to birds and angels.
