This photo was taken in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It shows the Utopia footbridge over Lake Neuchâtel, a famous place in the city designed by the architects Frank and Regula Mayer in 1991 for the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation. At first, it was intended to be ephemeral. For the Swiss Confederation anniverary, Neuchâtel participated in the "Festival of the Four Cultures", an exhibition inviting young architects from across the country to make ephemeral interventions on the theme of utopia. I took this photo when the sun was low in the sky to make a backlight silhouette photo.
