The WD Gateball Field Stadium is Korea’s first building to utilize Adaptive Architecture, addressing microclimate challenges as the climate shifts from temperate to subtropical. Its design includes advanced features like natural ventilation, solar radiation management, and air circulation systems. Unlike traditional gateball fields, which struggle with extreme temperatures, this stadium offers year-round play. Recognized for its innovative design, it has become a model for sustainable public architecture in Korea and aims to promote awareness through the MasterPrize 2025.
