How to integrate housing into a village while preserving its spirit? Courtyard Housing in Eysins reinterprets vernacular forms with a central courtyard and gabled roofs. Fragmented volumes and folded façades reduce impact, while a continuous roof with photovoltaic panels blends tradition and energy production. Inspired by village squares, the courtyard fosters community and light. Built in Capo 425 Lana bricks with Swiss wool insulation, each flat, from 2 to 5 rooms, is organized around a loggia glazed on three sides.
