This project involves the subdivision development of five houses on a limited site within a wind zone. To optimize space and comply with building-to-land ratio regulations, the second story was cantilevered, creating an eaves-covered area that doesn't count towards the ratio. This recessed space was then utilized for the external design. A gantry frame acts as a threshold, subtly dividing the outdoor areas, and strategically placed trees soften its presence. The design aims for a gradual transition, allowing the feeling of "home" to extend outwards.
