Situated in the Royal Docks of London, this project reclaims the water of a disused dock and revitalizes the lost spectacle of the historic pleasure garden. Drawing inspiration from its former exhibit featuring Japanese exotic plants, the cherry blossom emerges as the main theme. Utilizing the dock's water, advanced mechanical devices and projection along the banks project holographic cherry blossom trees onto mist. These mesmerizing holographic trees grow and undergo seasonal transformations, ultimately turning the disused dock into a vibrant and enchanting live digital landscape.
