“Organic” may not be the first word that comes to mind when one thinks of acrylic, yet this two-meter installation uses the material’s artificial qualities to explore the intersection of the natural and the man-made. By heating acrylic to exaggerate forms inspired by leaves and petals, and assembling them modularly, we created a structure that appears organic. Through experimentation, we captured the dynamic beauty of plant growth in a visually striking, conceptually rich spatial intervention.
