This project designs a researched urban phenomenon: how control and informality trigger a continuous cycle. Grounded in Hong Kong’s market history, it models rules pushing trade indoors, informality spilling back out, and the spatial reshaping that follows. In a Yona Friedman–inspired high-rise megastructure, zoning, access, and surveillance spark street-like life in the sky. The design showcases this loop: a living urban script where regulation and resistance co-produce space.
