Tour de Main is a mixed-use high-performance building designed to help address the housing crisis and urban sprawl through small-site densification. The building is bisected by a sloping bikeable ramp loop that provides kids of all ages with an active outdoor space for play and exercise, safe from cars. Housing a bike shop with cohousing units above, the building uses a mass timber post and beam structure featuring exposed DLT panels. Tour de Main facilitates healthy living and active play, supporting and encouraging the shift to sustainable human-powered transportation in the form of bikes.
