The project recognizes the dimness caused by dense tree canopies and crowded urban fabric of its cultural and historical context. In response, it seeks to introduce openness and maximize natural light through a floating structure supported by metal trusses and enveloped in a single-layer ETFE skin. This material filters scattered sunlight during the day to create a bright, evenly lit interior. At night, the building self-illuminates like a glowing lantern, transforming into a beacon that energizes the surrounding neighborhood to celebrate the vibrant, communal spirit of American music.
