Renowned architect I. M. Pei is celebrated worldwide for his civic landmarks, but he also designed just three private residences—one of which is this home. Recently photographed for architect Robert M. Gurney, the property has undergone a thoughtful restoration under his direction. Gurney and his team approached the project with deep respect for Pei’s original vision, working to restore and renovate the house to the highest standards. Their goal was to achieve a museum-quality outcome—one that honors its legacy while ensuring the home will thrive for years to come.
