Fengqiao Grand Temple in Zhuji was first built in the Southern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. Originally named Ziwei Marquis Temple, it was constructed to worship Yang Yan, a boatman canonized as the "Protector of the Country and the People, Marquis Ziwei" by the imperial decree in the Ming Dynasty. The temple consists of the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Front Hall, Opera Stage, Middle Hall, Rear Hall, and East and West Wing Rooms. The entire building is elaborately decorated with carved beams and painted rafters, exuding a magnificent and grand atmosphere.
