This project, photographed over multiple days from dawn to dusk, showcases a remarkable residence by architect Robert M. Gurney. Standing apart from its traditional neighbors, this polygonal house features multiple interconnected volumes, clad in Shou Sugi Ban siding with windows inspired by tree branches. Its dynamic spatial arrangement creates a visual cacophony of graphic forms, offering captivating perspectives at different times of the day. The challenging yet rewarding design lent itself to striking imagery that highlights the house’s innovative approach to architecture.
